Jewelry is like the perfect spice - it always complements what’s already there.

The exhibition presents the work of Diana Silva, Makiko Mitsunari, and Sunhi Jaeger—three jewellery artists from Portugal, Japan, and Germany, whose practices emerge from different cultural contexts and are connected by a shared engagement with material, form, and meaning.The works explore how experience, memory, and myth become embedded in material, and how material itself can carry narrative and operate as part of an artistic language. Through close attention to the qualities and behaviour of their chosen materials, the artists approach jewellery as a relational practice between object and body,&nbsp;through which meaning is formed.In the dialogue between these three positions, jewellery is situated between applied art and conceptual inquiry.&nbsp;Within this interplay, meaning unfolds through a process of poiesis inherent in the material—shaped through making, shaping, and transformation.

Inspired by myths, folklores, and the wonders of nature, she integrates diverse cultural roots, values, and wisdom into her pieces. The jewelry becomes a vessel for transmitting new stories, bridging the gap between cultural heritage and individual experience.Maria Kiialainen magnifies unseen facets of our world, her wearable sculptures existing symbiotically with the body, integrating into exhibition spaces as part of larger installations.
